World Breastfeeding Week:

World Breastfeeding Week: I’ve been breastfeeding 🤱 for almost 4 years now and I’m not ready to stop, but I can’t say I’ve loved every moment. Breastfeeding can be terribly hard! Mentally and physically. Cracked and bleeding nipples, hospitalized with mastitis, bed bound with cabbage stuffed into my bra and countless tears as my husband has tried to massage blockages out for me. All of this and if I had to do it again I absolutely would. The bond and love that it’s helped me build with my babies has been one of the most incredible experiences of my life. Logan has actually been the most difficult of the three and has a terrible habit of unconsciously pinching and fondling my other nipple as he feeds. It’s a habit We’re trying to break! 😂🙏🏻🤦🏼‍♀️⠀
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing, but it’s always been something that was important enough to me that I’ve worked through the hard times and it’s left with me with an incredible awe of the amazing female body.
